A 52-card set featuring the artwork of Alexander Calder and his vivid gouache painting series from the 1970's known as the Card Player Series. Many cards are direct reproductions from those paints, while details of the face cards are extracted from other gouache paintings from Calder. All letters and numbers are in Calder's own handwriting. This deck was faithfully reproduced to celebrate the legacy of Calder. Making play artful and art more playful. Measures 3.5" x 2.5", full deck is ½" thick.
