Inside and Out
There’s a lot to feel giddy about this week. New arrivals are here from some of the brands we’re most committed to—Labo.Art, Coclico and Allude—plus we’re introducing Chofa, a jewelry line that had us at hello. These are the kinds of pieces we love inside and out: thoughtful, beautifully made, and really, really good to wear. And because apparently that’s not enough excitement for one week, our sale drops to 80% off for the town-wide Sidewalk Sale this weekend. Come ready.
Labo.Art
Labo.Art distills getting dressed down to three things: color, fabric and silhouette—and then gets each one exactly right. There’s an architectural quality to the Italian brand’s shapes (the designer grew up with architect parents, so that tracks), but what we love most is how easily the pieces become part of a wardrobe. Wear them together and the look is unmistakably Labo.Art; mix them with what you already own and suddenly everything feels a little cooler. The fabrics are rich, the sweaters have an IYKYK quality, and those pants? They have a way of attracting compliments while suggesting you weren’t particularly looking for them.
Coclico
Leather and wood. It’s a combination Coclico has returned to again and again, creating shoes that feel feminine and assertive, artful and wonderfully practical. We’ve carried the brand since we opened, and we remain committed for all the same reasons: intelligent design, thoughtful materials, a serious approach to sustainability—and shoes that are actually made for living in. This fall, those signatures run through everything from sleek boots to sculptural clogs and refined heels, with one particularly cozy plot twist: shearling. Beautiful, useful and made with conviction. There’s a lot to relate to here.

Chofa Jewlery
We’ve missed lucite. A few years ago, we fell hard for the bold, sculptural jewelry of Canadian designer Corey Moranis, and when she closed her business, she left a little hole in our jewelry case—and our hearts. Then, wandering Shoppe Object earlier this month, we met Sofia Pagano of Chofa Jewelry and felt a familiar spark. Made in Miami, Chofa takes lucite in its own colorful, artful direction: oversized bangles, playful rings, unexpected color and plenty of personality. It isn’t about replacing something we loved. It’s the delight of discovering a new designer who reminds us why we loved it in the first place.
Allude
Season after season, Allude shows up. The super-soft merino basics are the kind of outfit-makers we count on constantly: simple, polished layers that quietly pull everything together. And then, just when you think you know exactly what to expect, Allude has a little fun. A pop of unexpected color, a great stripe, a cable-knit vest—just enough personality to keep reliable from becoming predictable. Consider this delivery proof that the pieces you count on can also be the ones that make getting dressed more fun.
Last Call on Sale!
We had a plan. Sidewalk Sale had other ideas. In honor of Downtown Summit’s shopping extravaganza, we’re skipping ahead and taking our sale to up to 80% off August 27 - 29—faster than usual and, frankly, into slightly ridiculous territory. We’ve also pulled some seriously good pieces from the archive and given them equally ridiculous prices. The selection is limited, the deals are very real, and at 80% off, thinking too long is probably not the right move.

I loved The Memoirs of Stockholm Sven so much that I’m happily following Nathaniel Ian Miller wherever he wants to take me next. This time, it’s to a family farm—and into a story about complicated relationships, hard work, commitment and the patience it takes to make things grow. I don’t quite know where I’m going. I’m here for the uncertainty.
