The People That Make It Happen!
Dani
Dani is that effortlessly chic Brazilian mom of two who somehow looks like she invented blazers and toe-cleavage as a lifestyle. She mixes high-low fashion like it’s a sport—designer heels, accessible denim, zero misses—and is so genuinely sweet you’d think she only consumes Milk Duds and compliments. But just when you’ve fully filed her under “elevated goddess,” she casually reveals her favorite show is Penny Dreadful. Yes. Horror. Dark, twisted, Victorian chaos. Because of course Dani—patron saint of perfect tailoring—also has a taste for the macabre. Catch Dani suggesting the pieces you can style with endless versatility on the sales floor and be sure to say hello!
Lynne
Lynne is a New Jersey native with a sharp eye for the best basics and a warm energy that makes everyone feel instantly at home. A mom of three and a force on the Tea & Oranges sales floor, she’s always one step ahead—perfecting every detail so the space feels just right before you even notice. A few years in London shaped her love for classic, tailored silhouettes, with navy as her forever go-to. She’s a neutral-palette queen and can build you the ultimate capsule wardrobe–so just ask okay?! And that vibrant red hair? 100% natural—no box dye, just pure Lynne perfection!
Nikki
Nikki is the kind of person who makes you do a double take and think, haven’t I known you forever?–even if you’ve just met. She’s effortlessly expressive, full of warmth, laughter, and big, animated energy that draws people in. Born in New Zealand, she spent her early years running wild through open meadows and splashing through mountain streams, a sense of freedom she still carries with her. Life has taken her all over the world, shaping her through years spent living in different corners of it. A mom to two gorgeous, athletic kids in college, Nikki brings that same vibrant spirit into everything she does–making life feel a little brighter, a little freer, and a lot more fun! That translates to her presence on the sales floor–putting together the most kick-ass looks and knowing everyone by name that steps foot in the store.
Margot
Margot is the savvy businesswoman behind Tea & Oranges, blending sharp instinct with a playful, unmistakable point of view. Raised in Kansas, her entrepreneurial journey began with a tomato stand—where she discovered both the thrill of earning her own money and the even greater thrill of spending it on SHOPPING. If she were a food, she’d be a tomato: often mistaken for something she’s not, and far more interesting because of it. Her style channels a grown-up Punky Brewster—bold, eclectic, and entirely her own—and her favorite color is not just pink, but metallic fuchsia pink (naturally). The name Tea & Oranges comes from Nina Simone’s rendition of Suzanne, a nod to her belief that everyday things can become extraordinary—and that the simplest pleasures are often the most worth celebrating!
Alex
Alex was born and raised in Summit in 1929-doesn't she look fantastic?! Well not quite, but growing up on black-and-white films and old school music has definitively impacted her personality and style. If you ask her she will tell you her Man Crush Monday is Cary Grant (her husband Dave fully supports this)! After studying and working in London for several years, that appreciation evolved into a personal style defined by classic silhouettes paired with fun statement accessories — scarves and bags beware! In her role as Inventory Manager, she handles all the goodness that you see throughout the store and online, ensuring you are the first to know when the season's best has arrived. Spending most of her time in 308, Alex is likely to pop up on the store floor every now and then. When you catch her, be sure to say hello!
Lindsay
Lindsay feels like summer that never quite leaves you—rooted in New Jersey, but with a piece of her heart forever living along the shores of LBI, where salt air and family memories shaped her earliest sense of joy. She moves through the world the way she dances: with intention and a quiet understanding that the body can say what words cannot. As a professional dancer, she’s drawn to that exchange—how a gesture, a shift, a breath can stir something deeply human in others. Offstage, she’s just as expressive —through spontaneous trips, a deep love for coffee Oreo ice cream, and the steady rhythm of baking bread, which somehow always finds its way to our hungry tummies here at Tea & Oranges (and we’re better for it). Lindsay has a warmth that settles a room without trying, disarming in the most natural way, with an energy that feels both light and lasting—in her role as digital marketing associate & model she is an ever-evolving creative asset for us all!
