Yes, piling on warm and cozy sweaters might be the easiest means (for me) to handle the cold, I would argue that the preferred method is to get out of town - to go somewhere warm. If you’re lucky enough to have the ability to travel during grey, wintry days. Some warmth and some vitamin D can go along way for our bodies and minds at this time.
So, while we’re talking about what to pack, let’s consider two options

- There are sale things that are perfect to take on vacation with you.

Let’s be clear, this one is always a favorite. It’s light and easy, dresses up and down effortlessly, it has pockets. I feel like it can be rumpled and still look cute. It’s low key but maximum impact, especially in this sweet, Swedish floral print
Roșie Assoulin’s “Falling…” dress
This dress is a very similar vibe to the Violetta - I think it’s executed with a little more edge than the predecessor. Assoulin keeps it real by prioritizing things that we value like pockets on dresses, though. The neckline purposely slips off the shoulder a bit, to give you the look of “oops that just happened.” Her prints are all proprietary and unique to the brand. You know we value special things like that.
Marion Parke’s Genevieve Heel
New to T&O, Marion Parke is proving to us that she makes a comfortable heel. Parke is a foot surgeon first. She went on to create a line of shoes that are constructed with architecture for a more comfortable and supportive heel. This raffia heel will go with everything.
Pedro Garcia’s Reme sandal
I have a strong preference for this ultra comfortable sandal style. I like to wear these chunky sandals with dresses and the likes. I also like that the brown feels relevant and it’s not overly heavy with the white EVA sole (which is ultra light). There are some other great resort styles from Pedro that just arrived, including the Nain (a clog style that is a returning style and a proven favorite, more dressy than Reme) and the Daliana, a beautiful olive satin sandal that straddles the line between casual and dress.
Apiece Apart’s Bali Tank Dress
A returning silhouette that we know we love. Perfect for warm, beachy days. Also just as lovely worn with boots and a sweater.
Apiece Apart’s Hazan Ruffle Top
I’m loving the drama of this top, and think it would be cute to wear with a pair of jeans out to a casual dinner.
Frank & Eileen’s James Dress
If you follow our socials you know I’m deeply committed to this dress. It’s just as good for cold days as it is to throw on after a dip in the pool. The short version of this dress is on sale and still available in size M and L!
Allude’s Fringed Vest
A great layer to throw on over a tank or tee and give you a bit more coverage. It’s like icing on the cake for any outfit. We have one left in black and ivory.

A super cute top to throw on for a casual dinner - it’s a fresh mix of colors. This is a returning style from the brand, so snagging it at sale is smart. It will just be a different mix of colors in the future.
Maria Cher’s Mimi Skirt
This is a perfect skirt to throw on for easy vacation days. Great with a pair of flat sandals and a tee.
Maria Cher’s Valery Dress
As easy as the Mimi Skirt, but a one and done. Throw a little cardigan or jacket over it and you’re done if there’s a chill in the air. It’s super polished looking and so pretty.
Apiece Apart’s Cefalu Mini
Another easy dress to throw on - similar in concept to Mille’s Violetta dress. An easy throw on piece and it’s priced very right!
La Prestic Ouiston’s Bain de Soleil
A little more dressy, a little more special and very on sale. This beautiful silk dress layers with other pieces easily so you can wear it at different times of year, but it stands alone as a strong piece as a vacation pick.
