Gifts from the Gods is a collection by Sabina Savage inspired by Ancient Egypt.
This is the story surrounding Egyptian Geese and it reads "Pearlescent wings glistening in the sunset, the Egyptian Geese proclaim their presence. They gather the bird of the city to join their cry filling the skies and surrounding the burning sun. They are offered gifts of golden reeds, winged amulets and elaborate carvings. From their aerial perspective, they are all seeing, all protecting."
The hieroglyphs in this piece translates as "Oh! To Osiris, birds sing a song of hope."
