Ode to Anubis, Small Ribbon, Lapis

Gifts from the Gods is a collection by Sabina Savage inspired by Ancient Egypt. 

This scarf tells the story of an Egyptian street dog "Reclining on her engraved plinth, the street dog embodies Anubis. She rests still as a statue while worshipers adorn her. Painted stone panels create a temple shape to surround her, she will weigh hearts for levity and guide souls in the afterlife" 

The hieroglyphics in this piece translate as "Your heart is mine."

Printed in stunning blues and golds, made from 100% silk, measuring 5cm x 95cm (approx. 2"x37")
